I’m Russell, a 27 year old Alaskan with a love for all things edible and a desire for a new creative outlet. When i’m not formulating a plan to eat, I love to stay active, spend time with my dogs (2 beautiful senior babies), relentlessly obsess over my horoscope, and think about a recurring dream I had where I would set the cruise control in my car then crawl into the backseat to take a nap. What could it mean?

I’ve been interested in food and cooking for as long as I can remember and spent many holidays dutifully following around my Mother and Grandma around the kitchen begging to help in whatever way I could. In those days most of the cooking I did was baking from a box or semi-homemade family recipes with some alaskana sprinkled in. Upon leaving the house for college my love of food grew along with my curiosity and I found myself quickly falling down numerous Pinterest rabbit holes that led me, eventually, right here.
